Since its launch in 2011, the Korin Gamadji Institute (KGI) has delivered over 50 intensive programs, engaging over 1,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people. Fundamental to that is REAL – the Richmond Emerging Aboriginal Leadership program – a program that was at significant risk in 2020 due to coronavirus lockdowns. But following a great deal of work on the part of KGI staff, the program IS being delivered this year, online.
